Chris Mintern is a 25 year old triathlete from Cork, he has been taking part in the sport of triathlon for a little over 10 years. He is the current Irish National Champion across Sprint, Standard and Middle Distances after back to back wins in the Standard and Middle Distance races only 8 days apart in recent weeks.
He has to date achieved much racing success locally, nationally and internationally representing Ireland at Junior as well as U23 World Championships. This year he switched his focus from racing short distances to now chasing podiums across middle and full distance events.
In this episode we chat about all things triathlon from training to racing and everything in between. His passion and drive for success is second to none, with his high standards across performance in training and racing he believes he has plenty of results yet to come as he seeks out his best ever race performance.
