In this 10th episode I chat with triathlete and veteran IRONMAN World Championship finisher Owen Martin, who this year celebrates his10th anniversary of chasing dreams on the Big Island in Hawaii. Owen started out in triathlon back in 2004 he completed his first IRONMAN in 2005 and has since then raced at all distances and all levels of triathlon with numerous podium places across many of the races he has competed in. Triathlon is not only his passion it is his almost fulltime career as both an athlete and coach at Ventuoux Cycling Studio and online at

His insight into his training, racing and his tips are invaluable to anyone who is racing IRONMAN this year or who is looking to qualify for the IRONMAN Word Championships in the future. His genuine excitement about returning to the Big Island is infectious, with a gracious attitude towards his opportunity to race with the best athletes in the world he is both humble and grateful and in his own words ‘blessed’ to be able to race.
